Over the years, Achitex Minerva Group has specialised in various non-textile sectors, for which it produces and distributes high-quality products with excellent performances.
These include glass fibre sizes, paper cone adhesives and a construction industry range for the protection and renewal of building materials.
GLASS FIBER
Achitex Minerva has been developing, producing and distributing products for fibreglass sizing applications for over thirty years, including products for the thermoplastics and thermosets sector.
For the thermoplastics sector, laboratories have created a line of aqueous emulsions of coupled polypropylene having diversified molecular weights and bridging agent percentages depending on their intended applications, such as roving or chop strand processes.
Emulsions guarantee excellent fibreglass size stability, and thanks to their low free maleic anhydride content, they can be used without the addition of amine stabilisers. They are odourless and have a low surfactant content.
For the thermosets sector, the company has developed a range of epoxy / polyurethane resin water-based dispersions and emulsions for the development of tailor-made products, with different epoxy index values and molecular weights.
The range of products for the glass fibre sector is completed by oils, antistatic agents, lubricants generally used in spinning process, and pigment dispersions, enabling Achitex Minerva to support its Clientele throughout the glass fibre processing cycle.
The emulsions produced are NPO-free, safeguarding health and the environment, and comply with Commission Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 on products intended to come into contact with food.
All products conform to the REACH regulation and are controlled by our laboratories on parameters set by the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 quality control system.
